Yearfall puts the whole budget on screen before you commit a year. Feed the settlement, plant fields, buy or sell land, and account for what the harvest leaves. Traveller offers add a choice about growth; decade reviews let you continue with the same settlement.

Thirteen lessons build through eleven runnable Sinclair BASIC programs, from an inspectable ledger to editable plans and repeated years. A worked shortage explains why an affordable year need not make recovery secure. The game uses a stock 48K Spectrum, with no real-time deadline.
