Starstruck, by The Black Lotus, premiered at Assembly 2006 and immediately became the reference point for what the Amiga could still do decades after release. It is the kind of demo that prompts disbelief — viewers checking, and re-checking, that they really are watching original Amiga hardware.
It belongs to the same spirit as the C64’s Edge of Disgrace: a modern production whose whole argument is that the old machine’s ceiling was never as low as people assumed.
