Overview
Purple Motion — Jonne Valtonen, the handle a nod to Deep Purple — was the other half of Future Crew’s musical firepower alongside Skaven. His tracker compositions, including the soundtrack to Second Reality, are among the most fondly remembered the scene produced.
His career since is one of the demoscene’s great glow-ups: Valtonen became a professional composer, arranger, and orchestrator, scoring and re-scoring video-game music for full orchestras at concerts around the world. The kid writing modules for a PC demo grew up to conduct his music in concert halls.
