Recognise every decade
yr/10=INT (yr/10) is true when the year is a multiple of ten. At year twenty, 20/10 equals two and its rounded-down value is still two. At year twenty-one, 2.1 is different from two. This lets the same summary appear after each decade without separate branches for years 10, 20 and 30.
The continuation branch reaches the ordinary next-year path at 550. That increments yr and sets up the next season. It avoids line 200, which would erase the settlement’s history. The C condition also requires pop above zero, so a collapsed settlement cannot be revived by continuing.
The release gate matters here too. Holding C must advance into planning once, then wait for another deliberate action. Continuing is not a shortcut for committing the next harvest.
Should welcome and admitted carry into the next year along with joined?

No. joined is a lifetime total; welcome and admitted describe one year’s event. The next-year setup clears those two fields. Otherwise the next report would charge or count the same arrival again. The scheduled visit and accumulated total must survive.
The summary’s wording now describes the actual history rather than always saying “ten years”. The planning heading shows the current year without a fixed ten-year denominator.
The verified extended run reaches thirty years and includes both accepted and declined offers. This does not prove that every run survives that long. The number editor still accepts four digits, a practical limit for much larger settlements; extending play has not made every numeric size or arbitrarily long run supported.
Keep watching the relationship between population, productive land and reserves. A decade review records where those decisions led; it does not certify that the next decade is safe.
