Sanity
Amiga craft at its peak
Sanity were among the most respected Amiga groups of the early 1990s, their productions setting a standard for polish that helped define the platform's golden run.
Overview
For a few intense years at the start of the 1990s, Sanity were close to the top of the Amiga scene. The German group built a reputation for finish — demos where the effects, the music, and the design all pulled in the same direction. Arte (1993) is the production most often named as their high-water mark, but their catalogue was deep and consistently admired.
Like many of the strongest groups, Sanity burned bright and relatively briefly; several members carried their discipline into professional games and tools work as the scene’s first wave matured.
