From megademo to TRSI
Red Sector Inc built one of the Amiga's defining early megademos and a demo-construction tool, then merged into TRSI, a powerhouse of cracking and demos.
Red Sector Inc — RSI — were among the German groups that gave the early Amiga scene its swagger. Their 1989 Megademo was a landmark, a relentless run of effects and attitude that travelled across the continent and showed newcomers what the machine could really do. They also released the RSI Demomaker, a tool that let others assemble their own demos, spreading the form to people who couldn’t code the effects themselves.
In time RSI joined forces with Tristar to become TRSI — Tristar & Red Sector Incorporated — one of the most prolific names spanning both the demo and cracking worlds.

Why RSI mattered
